This week an American indie rock band SAN FERMIN??climb 7 places to become a brand new no 1.
Even though the majority of songs in TOP 10 are upbeat, “Belong” made me dream and travel in time. No wonder it’s only the second week and it celebrates to be the leader of the chart.
NEW ENTRIES
The week brings 7 new entries. None of the new songs made a big impact on the chart. The highest one belongs RITUAL who already had several songs. This time they teamed up with MONONOKE to bring dreamy “Bottle Tops” new at no.15.
At no 16. an experimental Indie band from the USA – PORTUGAL. THE MAN with the single “Feel It Still”
IDER is a new band from England who just released an EP that includes a song produced by SHURA. “Face On” is new at no.18.
ESSE is an American singer-songwriter who released his debut EP “Deep Heart” on the 31st of March. His latest single “Dissolve” starts its journey at no.26.
I could easily name GOLDFRAPP as the biggest comeback of 2017. “Moon In Your Mouth” is the newest single from their album “Silver Spoon” that was released on the 31st of March. It starts shy at no.28.
MATT MAESON is back with a new single “Straight Razor” (no. 33).
While DAFT PUNK are creating new music there seems to be a market for sound alike projects. PARCELS left the chart and now BUSY P FT. MAYER HAWTHORNE takes their place. “Genie” is new at no 36.
